Yoshi47 is a painter from Tokyo, known for his recurring characters that are equal parts fun and creepy. He created one of our favorite murals during Forest for the Trees 2016 that was ruined shortly after by relentless tagging. This mural, placed higher and away from pedestrian traffic, smiles down on passers by in Yoshi47’s signature style.
